With the support of encoders that executes as console programs you have a great potentiality to use many more encoders.
Fields Name
This is a
field name for that you can store information about the specific setting.
For example if you use Pulse Code Modulation (PCM), 44.1 kHz 16 bit stereo
and 172 kbit/sec, you probably save this setting as CD Quality.
Program
This is the name
and the full path to the encoder programs you will use when recording with
external encoders. The external encoder must take a .wav file in and a .mp3
file as output. The .wav files must exist. Typical syntax for calling an
external encoder like x3enc.exe is: C:\Program Files\Xing\Xing MP3
Encoder\x3enc.exe -v100 -o -v
Arguments
Here you set the arguments to the external program given in the fields Program. You can please in file and out file in whatever order you like. $1 is input file and $2 is out file. If $1 and $2 is not found the it is the same as writing: C:\Program Files\Xing\Xing MP3 Encoder\x3enc.exe $1 $2
Note: The for how to set the arguments is depending on the specific external encoder. See the documentation for every specific external encoder for more details.
Encoder Window in Background
The encoder will run in background. When an encoder is
started in background mode Rosoft CD Extractor will increase the field
Encoder's Running.
Minimized
Run the
external encoder in a minimized window. This way it is easier stop the
encoder if some things go wrong.
Normal
Opens a new
Window and starts encoder in the new window. This way you see how the
encoder proceeds.
